Art house released the exhibition book for the Self Portrait Project i was in a couple months back. I cracked it open and was pleased to see there was a nice sized photo in the book.

Los Angeles Art Association and Gallery 825 are proud to present Exalted One, an all-media exploration of contemporary portraiture juried by Sam Lee of Sam Lee Gallery.
I was fortunate to be part of this show and share the walls with some pretty talented artists, here are some pics from the opening of Exalted One.

The Self Portrait Group Show Opening
There will be an exhibition in Brooklyn at Brooklyn Art Library on April 23rd, 2010. Your self portrait will be included in this exhibition and will also be published in a book documenting the project. The books will be available on April 23rd during the exhibition and will also start shipping out around that time.

A do-it-yourself, inter-media art exhibition featuring 24 artists from Reno, San Francisco and Los Angeles in a variety of media, including site-specific installation, circuit-bending sound scape, international mail art show, video installation, live performing sculpture, photography, painting, large scale sculpture, poetry bomb, spoken word, performance, handmade toys that recreate science fiction scenarios and L.A. Mudpeople.
Meet the Artists, live action surprises through out the evening, including a short performance by our beloved John Fleck. I will be showing my latest video installation and other works at the avalon seafood gallery in North Adams, Ma. The show runs august 27 through september 20 with the reception this thursday august 27 6 pm – 9 pm. If your around that neck of the woods check it out. I would love to get out there but the money is tight these days.

There you are is a video installation that investigates a specific, contrived space. Within this space, the Installation utilizes sound, animation, and collage. The piece reflects the fantastic things that happen in small, mundane spaces.
Run Time: 10 Min 35 sec.
I created 50 limited edition screen prints for the show. They will be available at the show the prints are 22 x 30″ pictured.
