This group show connects the distant fragments of Miami and Los Angeles in a ritual gathering, an assembly of video art just steps from the global gathering of Art Basel Miami Beach. Joined in a one-night wedding of circumstance from opposite coasts, the participating artists share their electric expressions in the intimate sanctuary of Miami.

I will be showing my latest video installation and other works at the avalon seafood gallery in North Adams, Ma. The show runs august 27 through september 20 with the reception this thursday august 27 6 pm – 9 pm. If your around that neck of the woods check it out. I would love to get out there but the money is tight these days.

There is also a pretty great article/interview about the show and work written by John E. Mitchell for the North Adams Transcript. Check out the article Here [pdf]

I have attached some pics of the work and hope to post more from the show. Enjoy!

There you are is a video installation that investigates a specific, contrived space. Within this space, the Installation utilizes sound, animation, and collage. The piece reflects the fantastic things that happen in small, mundane spaces.

Run Time: 10 Min 35 sec.

I created 50 limited edition screen prints for the show. They will be available at the show the prints are 22 x 30″ pictured.
